Once the base was primed work can start on adding texture and elevation. Here I used seven layers of foam board to create part of the main road outside the main entrance to the hospital.
The footprint of the building is a slightly different shade than the surrounding tarmac. I’d guess it was a more concrete surface.
Cut offs were used to create a varied grassy section. It’s stuck down using PVA, once that dried textured Pollyfilla was coated as required.
The textured pollyfilla was then coloured using seven or eight different paints. Browns, tans, greys and greens were stippled over the surface. Once dry I created a flock using green weeds and burnt grass. This was attached using Mod Podge. (Matt PVA type glue)
